To celebrate the launch of our new cafe and bookshop, we commissioned Benedict Drew to present a site-specific series of works combining a limited edition poster, a live music composition and a film for the cafe TV.
The double-sided poster edition titled All Firings Will Now Be On Mondays is now available online and in-store. Limited edition of 200.
The new composition Music for Bookshops was presented live at the launch party with collaborators Arianne Churchman and Natalie Kynigopoulou, using books and printed matter as source material.
Following the launch, the new film Some Suggestions Concerning Commerce (in the style of Henry Flynt) was on display in the cafe for several months.
