Lone Twin
Forma is working with Lone Twin to produce a series of unique Town Crying performances taking place in public spaces across North East England.
The project will be presented as part of the Design Showcases programme for Dott 07 (Designs of the Time 2007) – a year of community projects and events that explore how design can make a positive difference to our daily lives.

Lone Twin produce theatrical and arts–based events for a variety of locations and contexts. Committed to creating entertaining and hopeful works, the company creates projects ranging from durational performances and community events to stage and studio presentations.
Formed in 1997 by Gregg Whelan and Gary Winters, the company have since created an internationally celebrated body of work with regular showings across Europe, North America and Australia. In 2004, KunstenFESTIVALdesArts, Brussels commissioned the 24–day performance To The Dogs. In 2005 the company toured to 18 cities across the world, returning for a second year to Portland Oregon's TBA Festival and presenting four works at The Melbourne International Arts Festival.
In 2006 the company created Alice Bell, the debut work for the newly formed Lone Twin Theatre. Alice Bell premiered at KunstenFESTIVALdesArts and will begin various international tours following a UK tour later this year. In 2007, a new duo piece Nine Years will also be touring and the company will develop a second Lone Twin Theatre work.
