Main navigation:
This four-day long festival of live art features world premieres of several specially commissioned works and keynote presentations by leading writers and critics. navigate takes place aboard 'Stubnitz', a German ship that will be travelling to the Tyne for the festival, at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art and on a coach touring throughout the region. The festival comprises an international line-up of artists whose diverse practices address 'navigation' as a core theme – navigation of the body as site, the mapping of real and virtual geographies, the navigation of data within digital media and the navigation of time across physical and emotional space.
